A consulting company built around two functions that decide whether a business scales
Creddoes Consulting works with growing companies across HR and business finance. We run HR functions in full or in part, advise on financial planning alongside our banking partners, and connect clients to the right consulting team for anything outside both.
Make professional HR and financial support available to companies that are still growing
The functions that keep a company compliant and solvent are usually the last to be resourced properly. Our mission is to make that support available before a business is large enough to build it in house — at a standard it would otherwise take years to reach.
A consulting partner clients keep, not one they replace
We measure ourselves on how long engagements last rather than how many we start. The aim is to become the function a client never needs to rebuild — trusted with payroll, hiring and financial decisions year after year.
What we hold to
Accountability
Every engagement has a named owner. Nothing is handled by a queue.
Discretion
We handle payroll, contracts and personal data. Confidentiality is the baseline.
Practicality
Advice that survives contact with an operating business, not a slide deck.
Continuity
Our longest engagement began in 2017 and is still running.
How an engagement runs
Understand before proposing
We start by reading how the function actually runs today, including the parts that are undocumented.
Take on the work, not just the plan
Where a client wants delivery rather than recommendations, we run the function ourselves.
Leave the client stronger
Process, records and compliance stay with the client whether or not the engagement continues.
Delivery, not just advice
Most consulting relationships end with a recommendation. Ours usually begin there. Clients stay because we take responsibility for the function itself: the payroll run that has to be right on the last working day of the month, the compliance filing that has a date on it, the vacancy that has been open too long.
That is also why our HR and financial services sit in one company. A workforce decision is a cost decision, and separating the two forces the client to be the integration layer between two sets of advisers.
